Starting using an Existing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screen as a template:

Export Template Configuration File

  1. Select HMI using the left-hand menu.

  2. Click “Edit” in the screen toolbar.

  3. Export the Config file.

    1. Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the toolbar.

    2. Click “Export Config” in the drop down.

  4. Configuration downloads as a .JSON file. This .JSON file will serve as a template. The gist is to copy/paste the existing and point the created HMI to the 'new' tags.

      1. Open JSON file as a text document.

    3. Duplicate dashboard

  5. New Document Quality Assurance

  6. Create New HMI.

  7. Select Edit, then use menu to select “Import Config”.

  1. Create New HMI using the left-hand menu,

  3. Import the Config file.

    1. Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the toolbar.

    2. Click 'Import Config” in the drop down.
